    Our series finale’ finds us getting back in at the panther’s tail. Here, where the life of the Tanase enjoys their stretch of relatively wild sovereignty, through Horseshoe Bend, before the dam’s effects are glaringly apparent.

    We’ll portage around whitewater back to the water for an introspective yet celebratory return, below the narrows.

    This expedition requires full mobility and river paddling experience.

  • Boating with Bartram

    Paddle your way along the Bartram trail very near the exact route William Bartram took as he made his way north on the famous Bartram Trail.

    Hickory Knoll Rd to Little TN Greenway.

    $65 for full outfit and shuttle

    Sunday, September 21 (12noon)

    Paddle 8 is on deck! This one is where we get into the legs of the Little Tennessee River.

    This is the wildest and possibly most biologically intact section of all, flowing through the locally cherished Needmore State Gamelands.

    River paddling experience is absolutely necessary for this stretch - there’s one fun class II rapid! Approximately 7 river miles.

  • Revere 7

    Saturday, August 23 | 1PM

    Paddle trip 7 of our ReVeRe brings us into some of the highest biotic integrity since the headwater reaches in Rabun County, GA. This is where the ionic magic really hits on this mighty Little Tennessee River. Folks in front will be escorted by Great blue herons into the Oak Grove and Tellico communities.

    This ReVeRe will feature Ashlyn Miller of Innerwoven Woven Wellness who brings her somatic sensibilities to our cultural and natural histories of this most beloved stretch of the river.

    Some river paddling experience required.

  • Falling Into

    Falling Into is a play that will be composed during the performance, drawn from the experience of walking in nature and through the practice of deep listening.
